On the morning of December 25th, the grand opening of 2019 National Power Industry Fuel Analyst Vocational Skills Competition was held in Changsha. This competition was sponsored by China Association for Water and Electric Quality Management and the National Committee of China Energy Chemical and Geological Labor Union, and organized by CKIC. Leaders from all participating corporations presented at the opening ceremony, including vice-chairman of National Committee of China Energy Chemical and Geological Labor Union, executive vice president of China Association for Water and Electric Quality Management and deputy director of China Electricity Council Technical Committee on Fuel Management Standardization of Thermal Power Enterprises, deputy secretary general of China Electricity Council and chief referee of 2019 National Power Industry Fuel Analyst Vocational Skills Competition, chief engineer of Institute of Measurement and Testing of Hunan Province, chairman of CKIC, etc.
The opening ceremony was opened in the grand national song. Mr. Luo Jianwen, the chairman of CKIC, delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the organizers, expressing congratulations on the success of the contest. Mr. Luo Jianwen said that the competition was a distinguished event the whole industry has been looking forward to for 11 years, and that it showed the full trust on CKIC where the competition was chosen to hold. All staff of CKIC would advance with care, do their best to carefully arrange various contest services, and help corporations of electricity industry train more high-skilled talents.
Mr. Luo Yong, the executive vice president of China Association for Water and Electric Quality Management and deputy director of China Electricity Council Technical Committee on Fuel Management Standardization of Thermal Power Enterprises, fully affirmed the positive influence of this competition on improving the level of fuel management. He hoped all participants would demonstrate their styles and skills, all referees should be responsible, fair and just, and all competition organization and service staff would do the due diligence to create a warm and strict competition environment, and make an influential, high quality, unique contest event.
Mr. Guo Zhenyou, the vice-chairman of National Committee of China Energy Chemical and Geological Labor Union, was invited to give a speech on the podium. He said that National Committee of China Energy Chemical and Geological Labor Union attached great importance to this competition and will hold this competition as a good opportunity to promote mutual learning among power enterprises, improve the skills of power industry workers and improve the operation quality of power enterprises. The competition was also a good opportunity for major enterprises in the power industry to compete, exchange skills and enhance friendship. He expected all participants to show the good style of power enterprises staff, express their superb skills, and find their gaps with the better one at the same time. All players should have a clear goal to catch up, take the courage to innovate based on their own jobs, and keep improving to truly become the leading skilled talents in this industry and make greater contributions to the rapid development of China's power industry.

More than 150 team members from 8 participating corporations including China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., China Datang Corporation Ltd., China Huadian Corporation Ltd., CHN Energy, State Power Investment Corporation Limited, SDIC Power Holdings Co., Ltd., Beijing Energy Holding Co., Ltd., and Hebei Construction& Investment Group Co., Ltd., shall have fierce competitions in both theory and practice. This competition will grant team award and individual award, and the organizing committee will award the corresponding titles, medals and certificates. The top 15 players will be promoted to the corresponding professional qualification according to the relevant national and industry regulations.
